[PHOTOGRAPHY]. Collection of vernacular photographs documenting an African American family. Ca 1960s-1970s.
Featured is an immense collection of approx. 500 snapshots providing a window in the life of an African American family including parties and social gatherings, sporting events, religious ceremonies, trips to the beach, out west, Paris, and other locales abroad incl. images of subjects riding camels and approx. 25 images of a Spanish bull fight, leisure time, and candid and posed portraits capturing "everyday life." Most images are in color, a small portion are black-and-white. Some feature date stamps ranging from 1960-73.
